I'm trying to persuade Elias to make a new counterfactual Swedish scenario for the fourth expansion. Please lean on him and make him do it!

Just a reminder that Wing Leader: Eagles is now shipping, with added Swedes!

I'm trying to persuade Elias Nordling to make us another Swedish scenario for a future expansion. Lean on him, will you?

Here's the scenario. If anyone has a better picture to use (preferably in the public domain and of good resolution) then please let me know:

I posted some of the master art for the Swedish aircraft at Consimworld:

You lads will be pleased to know that the second Wing Leader expansion, Wing Leader: Eagles, will contain data cards and counters for Swedish aircraft. The three aircraft included will be the J 22, B 17 and B 18.

As a scenario I have created a counterfactual based around Operation Rädda Danmark, the planned liberation of Denmark that was planned for 18 May 45. Of course, the Germans capitulated before the invasion could go ahead, but it makes for an intriguing alternate history scenario.

I'm artworking the first aircraft for this, and you can see a sample at Consimworld, here:

You'll find a large number of Royalist players will favour sending the King north to deal with the Fairfaxes and later the Covenanters, which he can often do quite handily. This can leave the Royalists short of a good army in the Midlands, however, which in turn can make the South harder to contest. You'll find the final turns one in which both sides whizz around trying to Hoover up areas. Whoever controls the centre prior to this point will be in the stronger position.

I really want to do another pass on the campaign. I suspect the average VP values required to achieve victory are too great and I need to narrow them. It'll take some spreadsheet work and that's unlikely to happen before Christmas.

Some quick updates. I now have a set of campaign rules out there that I shall make an official release of soon. I'm also looking into releasing the link-up rules with Nightfighter, possibly around Christmas.

Engelbrekt, what side are you playing? There are a number of options for playing well, outlined in the game. A lot of players get distracted by the North when it's the Midlands where the game is often won or lost.

I was wondering whether to book a train ticket for Linköping on Sunday. Any thoughts on whether this would be a good day for you?

Okay, so I need some education here. What would be the likeliest targets for the Soviets, and what approaches would they employ?
