In the south 25 mech div arrives and renews the so far disastrous offensive across the border, but gets nowhere against 13 div.






60 rifle manages to releive the sorrounded parts of 75 rifle.






56 rifle attacks without result, but 12 div counterattack fails and the Finns fall back.






Pajari effectively annihilates 139 div.






No action in the north.

25 mech adjusts its positions and attacks again, but is stopped again. Battle group Pikkarainen arrives behind 13 div forward positions ad deploys. North of this 60 rifle and 34 tank attacks to the south and threatens Pikkarainens northern flank.






12 div reoccupies its forward postions. In the soviet rear 72rifle (-) arrives and moves to replace the defeated 139 rifle.






Continued calm in the north.

In the south 25 mech manages to cut off the most south western part of 13 div in Manssila while these stop the newly arrived 11 rifle that attacks frontally. Pikkarainen attacks to relieve the surrounded Finns, and while stopped weaken the soviets enough for a break out to succeed. 60 rifle attacks to the west while the part of 13 div disengages to move south while parts of 23 div moves in from the west.






12 div, 56 rifle and 164 rifle are passive. 72 rifle arraives at the remants of 139 rifle while Pajari attacks again.






In the north continued calm.

25 mech and 11 rifle attack again and again in the south. The outcome is disappointing. 60 rifle is also stopped further to the north, and the Finns counterattack.






56 rifle also attacks, but gets nowhere. Pajari seizes a vital junction  and defeats a counterattack by 72 rifle and two airborne units.

In the far north, nothing new.

The Soviets press as hard as they can in the south with small gains, at least territorial. The finns are slowly being grinded down however. Further north the Finns counter attack and seize terrain as well as inflicting losses along the road.






Along the Imola road 12 div and the soviets take turns attacking and counterattacking. Pajari is attacked in his southern flank by 128 mech that outflanks the Finns by moving south of the lale and then north.






In the north Ekholm mass against the road and surround the Soviets while their line of supply is cut to the east.

The Soviets press hard in the south and achieve some success. Right now the main problem for the Soviets is how to employ all their power and get in into the line.






Along the Imola road the mutual attrition continues. Pajari finds himself in a precarious situation when 128 mech cuts his forward units off.

In the north nothing happens. 155 rifle is still cut off.

The elements of 22 inf div in the south hold against repeated soviet attacks. 13 div is almost totally destroyed by now. 24 mech achieves something of a breakthrough further north. Things are starting to look sinister for the Finns.






Even more to the north 12 div stands firm and actually counterattacks on the southern flank. The Soviets are passive here though, while they attack furiously against Pajari and rip the bottom out of the defense here. A crisis has finally arrived that will change the nature of the fighting.






Both sides are passive in the north.

The Finns are in deep trouble by now. But it also over now. They have held on well, It is a Finnish win this time.
