You need to find one of those travelling trunks that were popular at the beginning of the previous century. There ought to be enough room for a few games in one of those. Though I doubt you will find any porters to carry it for you here in Sweden, not to mention the attention you would get when you check in your luggage at the airport.

Don't you have any painkillers? In the UK the brand Neurofen has done wonders of helping me through bad tooth pain.

Okay, my flight is now booked. I shall be in Malmö late in the afternoon of 6 September, living at the Hotel StayAt, Norra Skolgatan.

Other than work, which starts on 7 September, my diary is clear. I'll be amenable to evening or weekend meetups for beer and/or games and/or showing this foreigner the ropes in Sweden.

That means you got closer to "Möllevångstorget" aka "Bagdad". But they do have alot of good restaurants and bars. Besides I have lived close to there for 5 years and did like it alot.

Blimey! Things are starting to move quite fast.

We may have found a place to live, on the Jörgen Ankersgatan. I have to agree with the wife as to whether we want to rent the place. I'm told it's a nice area, desirable even.

On the plus side, if we take the property it looks like I shall have digs soon after arrival. On the negative side it's going to take 2-3 weeks for my gear and furniture to arrive, so I may be camping out in a sleeping bag on a hard floor in an empty apartment for a few weeks.

Jörgen Ankers is a very desirable place. That whole area around Davidshallstorg (Square) is really good. Also very close to busstations.
