Svagt år tycker jag. Nu har jag ju inte testat mer än högst 10% av spelen på listan. Några ljusglimtar som jag spelat är:

Lite siffror:

Om man räknar bort reprinter, expansioner, scenariopaket och science fictionspel får jag det till 149 nya krigsspel. Av dessa kom 52 i låda, 35 var ziplocks eller tidningsspel med riktiga brickor, och 62 var DTP-spel eller tidningsspel med brickor som måste limmas.

Av de som kom i låda var 19 från Decision Games, GMT eller MMP. Jag misstänker att det är detta urval som ligger till grund när Andreas klassar det som "ett svagt år". Men även om man inte tycker om tidningsspel och är skeptisk till DTP-spel missar man alltså merparten av de krigsspel som kom ut under året om man bara tittar på vad Decision, GMT och MMP gör.

På eurogamefronten har det dock kommit ut en del roliga titlar måste jag säga.

Battle for Normandy verkar rätt lamt i mina ögon. Generiska brickor, basmekanismer, det är mest stort. Har jag fel?

För de som är lika enkelspåriga som jag, läs: som spelat Longest Day sönder och samman under 20 års tid, är BfN en dröm. Lika absurt stort och på bataljonsnivå men med en betydligt bättre OOB och bättre förståelse för vad som egentligen hände i Normandie.

Det finns ju en jättepassus. Eller två faktiskt. 1) Spelet har inte anlänt till mig än! och 2) Alltså kan jag inte uttala mig om hur det fungerar som system (man måste ju spela i alla fall 1,5 månad in i kampanjen några gånger för att se om systemet håller).

Både och?

Visst är det så att eurofronten släppt ifrån sig bra mycket fler roliga titlar, men så är det ju faktiskt varje år i min bok. Även rent procentmässigt. MEN de kriggsspel som är riktigt bra överträffar förstås så gott som alla eurogames.
