Det låter som ett Tysvar.  :D

Assumption:

WW2 is a favourite topic in wargaming, and the European theatre is favoured over the Pacific. This might or might not be because of a pro-German bias. It is probably part of the factor, but I suspect hardware fetishism is a much stronger factor. I'll leave that for another argument and am going to focus on games that actually has nazis in them.

Quantitative Pro-german indicators:

1) Title. The title of the game is from the German perspective, or from the Allied perspective but in a way that otherwise glorifies the German effort.

2) Imagery: The front and/or back cover of the game features imagery that is predominantly from the German perspective or from the Allied perspective but in a way that otherwise glorifies the German effort.

3) Copy: The box text is from the German perspective, or from the Allied perspective but in a way that otherwise glorifies the German effort.

4) Topic: The topic of the game or the scenario selection is from the German perspective, for example showing a German operation but ending before the Allied counter-operation.

5) Resolution: The German side is shown at a greater resolution than its opponent. For example differing colours between different weapons branches where the Allies are not given the same treatment, or detailed differentiation in unit ratings for the Germans but not for the Allies in cases where both sides showed measurably varying quality.

The selection: I want to look at the current trend in wargaming with regards to German bias, not historical trends, so I'm going to pick a year between 2000 and 2009 as my sample year, by rolling a 10-sided die:

Rolling... 8. The selected year is 2008. Here's a comprehensive list of wargames published in 2008:

1) Title. A quick glance tells me most titles in this list are pretty neutral, featuring the name of the place where a battle was fought or somesuch. The following titles can be constructed as from the German perspective to me:

Paukenschlag (ATO)
March on Leningrad (supplement in the Panzer Grenadier series) (Avalanche)
Operation Typhoon: Barbarossa Denied (L2)
Barbarossa: Kiev to Rostov (in the East Front series) (GMT)
Drive on Kursk: July 1943 (S&T)
Pantery w akcji (Kaniów 1943)
Field Commander: Rommel (DVG)
Assault on Sevastopol (VPG)
Barbarossa: The Russo-German War, 1941-45 (WAW)
Surprised Outside of Strass (supplement in the Advanced Tobruk series) (Critical Hit)
Hurtgen Surprise (compatible with Advanced Squad Leader) (Critical Hit)
Total: 11

Allied-centric titles:
Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! - Russia 1941-1942 (Academy Games)
Gazala Line 1942 (ATO)
Arctic Convoy (in the Second World War at Sea series) (Avalanche)
White Eagles
101st Airborne At Brecourt Manor (compatible with Advanced Squad Leader) (Critical Hit)
Ivan's War
Highway to the Reich (rev. ed.) (Decision)
Fast Action Battles: The Bulge (GMT)
The Devils' Cauldron (MMP)
Valor of the Guards (in the Advanced Squad Leader series) (MMP)
Breakout at St. Lo (Minden)
Cobra (S&T)
Bagration 1944
Red Thunderstorm (Budziszyn 1945)
The Drive on Metz (updated edition) (VPG)
Paul Koenig's D-Day: The American Beaches (VPG)
Paul Koenig's D-Day: The Canadian Beach (VPG)
The Bulge (WAW)
Total: 18

Discussion:

We are talking about games where half the players are going to play the Germans. The argument isn't whether Germans should be allowed to be featured in the title or cover at all, but whether they are over-represented. In this case, with each game being about the Germans vs the Allies, it would be fair to say the Germans should be allowed equal title space with the Allies. For the titles, I can't find a pro-german bias, but rather a slight Allied bias.
